As the federal government continues to place more emphasis on providing tangible proof that a college education adds professional value in the lives of young people, institutions of higher learning are looking for ways to provide internships for the majority of their students as one way to help students make a successful transition to life after college.  While most institutions offer experiential learning opportunities in some form for students, there is a growing trend to make this a requirement for graduation to  participate in these valuable programs.
